Sun Cellular Plan Application Requirements

After you choose the best gadget you want to avail from Sun cellular, you need to prepare the requirements needed before proceeding to the nearest Sun Shop on your area.

You can also apply Sun Postpaid plan on their online application page that is initially available for single line application of regular plans, easily line, fixed load plans, easy plan, Sun Elite series, Sun Broadband Wireless Plan 799 and SBW Plan 1399. Just key in your transaction ID to proceed on online application plan subscription.

How to App Sun Cellular Postpaid Plan

Sun Cellular Plan Application

1. Visit the nearest The Sun Shop or apply online by clicking here.

2. Present a valid ID.  You may choose from any of the following:

Philippine Passport

Philippine Driver’s License

SSS / GSIS ID with picture (ATM card type)

TIN ID with picture (ATM card type)

Company ID (only for Top 5000 Corporations)

Locally-issued Major Credit Card

Membership Card with picture (Exclusive Clubs only) with picture

Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) ID

Integrated Bar of the Philippines

ACR I-Card - required for foreign nationals (IBP) ID

3. Fill-out the application forms completely. You may ask for assistance from any of our Customer Care Specialists at The Sun Shop.

4.  Present ANY of the two options below:

Option 1 : Proof of Billing and Proof of Income

Proof of Billing (Choose only 1 from the following)

Utility Bill (Electricity, Telephone, Water, Major Cable/Internet) with at least -P -2,000 for the Electric Bill and -P -1,500 for Telephone, Water, and Major Cable/Internet**.

Credit Card Statement***

Bank Statements (mailed)

Exclusive Club Membership Bill

Notarized Lease Contract

Insurance Premium Statements of Account

Proof of Income (Choose only 1 from the following)

Last two (2) months Credit Card Statements***

(paid if already due) with CL of at least -P-25,000**** (when applying for Plan 350).

Latest Income Tax Return / BIR Form 2316 with Payslips of the last two (2) half-month pay periods.

a) Basic Gross Annual Income of at least -P-120,000**** (when applying for Plan 350).

b) Present O/R to show payment of tax due, if any.

Newly-issued Certificate of Employment and Compensation with payslips:

a) Issued by the company's HRD reflecting the employee's income components, tenure, position

and department.

b) Latest Payslips of at least two (2) half-month pay periods reflecting a basic monthly income of

at least -P-10,000****( when applying for Plan 350).

* Newly issued passports (since Sept 2007) must be submitted with another ID with signature.

** No minimum requirement if it will be used as POB only; if it is used as POI,

consider minimum amount requirement.

*** For Sun Shops only, credit card may be presented in lieu of statements.

**** The amount may vary depending on the plan being applied for.

All these are subject to Sun Cellular’s credit evaluation.

Option 2: Competitor Bill

Your subscription must be at least six (6) months at the time of the application to Sun Cellular. Make sure that your account is current and with no overdue balance. It’s best to pay all overdue charges first before presenting this document as proof.
